About Where Things Grow
Where Things Grow is a practical gardening resource created for home gardeners who want simple, reliable guidance—not trends or guesswork. This site focuses on planning, growing, and using what you grow, with tools designed to work in real life and real seasons.

Why I Started Where Things Grow
I’ve been gardening for many years, growing food from seed, planning seasonal gardens, preserving harvests, and learning what truly works over time.
Gardening has always been part of our family life—not just as a hobby, but as a way to slow down, learn responsibility, and connect to the rhythms of the seasons.

As a homeschool parent, I’ve also used the garden as a hands-on classroom, teaching practical skills through planting, observing, and harvesting.
Over time, I realized how many gardeners feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice, complicated systems, and unrealistic expectations.

Where Things Grow was created to offer something different: clear, calm, practical tools that help you plan and grow with confidence—whether you’re just getting started or refining what you already know.
"If you value seasonal living, thoughtful planning, and using what you grow, you’re in the right place."
